WIP Wednesday: Getting It Together

Why, hello, Wednesday—where did you come from? It snuck up on me again, you guys! And I don’t have a lot to show you this week, since I basically spent the past seven days just finishing up my Candy Coated quilt.

Candy Coated quilt

Click here to check out the finished quilt. It was a fun one!

But I’ve got a brand new stack of fabric that I’m cutting into later today. This quilt will be a gift for a certain long-hoped-for baby. Yes, there are some narwhals in there—and apparently I’m really digging the whole gray/yellow/etc. color scheme lately!

So I’m relying on you all to make up for my lack of WIPpy-ness by linking up your own WIP posts! Here are the rules:

1. Link up any post from the past week that features at least one unfinished work-in-progress (WIP).
2. Somewhere in your post, you must link back here to my blog. (Or grab my WIP Wednesday button for your sidebar.)
3. Comment on at least a few of the other WIP Wednesday links. Because what fun is a linky party without comments? : )

Happy Wednesday, everybody!

Ah, but Lee–you've had a week liked most of us do. I am always amazed at the things you get done, so one week isn't anything to judge by. And I always like seeing quilts in progress–even quilts that have been completed and blogged about at some other time.

Whatever did you do with your Madrona Road (shown last week)? Is it tucked away for inspiration to strike?

I love that candy coated quilt! I've been looking at that book for a while now and I'll have to secure it on my wish list! I also really like that fabric stack! Those colors and fabrics play so well together I can't wait to see what you end up with!

I can't wait to see your baby quilt! I can't believe I am linking at #144! Blogland and bloggers have all been busy this week, that's for sure. Lots of browsing and blog hopping opportunities. Thanks for the linking party!

Love your Candy Coated quilt . . . terrific group of fabrics. And the next group looks good too. Glad I found your WIP Wednesday's. They are a lot of fun seeing what everyone is up to. Thanks for creating it.

Lee, thanks for hosting this every week. I love to come see what everyone else is doing, find new blogs, and look at your posts. Love the fabric you're cutting into.
