Vintage Quilt Revival Blog Hop!

Screen-Shot-2014-01-12-at-11.54.14-PM-1

Happy Monday! It’s an exciting week around here, because we’re having party for Vintage Quilt Revival!

Katie, Faith, and I asked some of our favorite bloggers to make the blocks featured in our new book, Vintage Quilt Revival. The bloggers were then nice enough to send their finished blocks to us three authors so that we could make them into charity quilts. We’ll each be making a charity sampler quilt with a fresh, unique layout, which we’ll unveil on Friday on our own blogs. Sound fun?

Visit the bloggers below, all this week, to check out each one’s take on a classic block from the book. Then come back on Friday to see what I did with some of them!

A few other updates: Fat Quarter Shop has named Vintage Quilt Revival their book of the month, which means it’s 20% off all month long! And that’s just in time for the Vintage Quilt Revival Block-Along, starting on Jan. 21 on Sukie’s blog. It’s one-stop shopping—grab your copy of the book and all the fabric you need to sew along with Sukie. Fun!

Here’s the schedule for our blog hop. Enjoy!

What a fun idea. I seriously lost sleep this week over this book because it arrived in the mail, and I let myself look at it in bed, and then I got so into thinking about what colors I wanted to use and what expanded projects I wanted to make st part of Suki's block along that I couldn't shut my brain down and go to bed 🙂

Lee,thank you for this book, love it! I made my first block this week and it was fun and the instructions were easy. I am looking forward to the QAL by Sukie. I also wanted to thank you for the charity quilts. I work in a NICU and we use quilts on 75 beds (isolates, crib and warmers) everyday. The parents love the creativeness, beauty and personalization for every bed for their baby. I don't know where those quilts will end up but as a nurse that uses charity quilts in her professional life everyday. It's a wonderful thing. All these women are so talented, they will be beautiful.
