WIP Wednesday: On Thursday.

WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced
Um, you guys?? I spent all day today thinking it was Tuesday. For real. The whole day. Until I sat down at almost 10 p.m. to write WIP Wednesday, and something seemed … not right. Oh, that’s because WIP Wednesday was supposed to go live, uh, about 22 hours ago. Oops!

Welcome to my life lately. It’s okay, you can laugh at me. : )

Anyhoo. Let’s take a look at what I’m working on, shall we?

This. (Stitching binding and writing up the pattern!)

And this. (Okay, not quite working on it yet, but it’s calling out to me. That’s the Safari Moon collection by Frances Newcombe for Art Gallery. I love it!)

This week’s WIP Wednesday is sponsored by Intrepid Thread. Intrepid Thread has a fabulous, well-curated selection, great customer service, and their Fearless Fabric Clubs and BOMs. They’ve got a very flexible Rainbow Must-Stash club (with a variety of cuts and yardages available), a brand new Low-Volume Club, and a Gypsy Wife BOM! Tempting. : )

GIVEAWAY: And since you guys were so very patient, Julie from Intrepid Thread is offering a $25 gift certificate good for anything in the store! Link up your own WIPs (see rules below) or comment on this post for a chance to win. Both commenting and linking up gets you two chances. I’ll draw a winner on Friday. Thank you, Intrepid Thread!! Now go give them some love for making WIP-Wednesday-on-Thursday possible!

What are you working on this week? Here are the linky rules:
1. Link up any post from the past week that features an unfinished work-in-progress (WIP).
2. Somewhere in your post, you must link back here to my blog.
3. Comment on at least a few of the other WIP Wednesday links—commenting on the two or three links directly before yours works well to make sure everyone gets comments!

Yep, I kept questioning whether I was wrong about it being Wed. 🙂 Love the colors/low-volume combo in the top picture. Looking forward to seeing the final product.

MLK holiday throw you off? 🙂 I thought about emailing you yesterday when there was nothing up by mid-afternoon but I figured maybe you were sick or out of town or something. No worries though – I don't mind linking up on Thursday instead!

I really love the Safari Moon. I picked up a few half yards last night. I need to pick up some more when I get the extra funds for fabric. I can't wait to own the zebra print.

It's OK that you are a day off once in a while-afterall aren't we all once in a while! Thanks for hosting it every week, it's been so fun to see everyones projects! And thanks for a chance to win.

I'm laughing WITH you, not at you, because my Wednesday went like that. Forgot we swapped up carpool days, drove my kid to pick up their kid, and was reminded it wasn't actually my day to drive. The whole day went like that… But I'm glad you're back now!

We've all been there. Last year, I kept "forgetting" when a month was only 30 days long and missed a couple end of the month deadlines unnecessarily because I thought I had one more day. I confess I was a little worried about you yesterday, though, because I've never seen you miss a WIP Wednesday post.

Between snow days and sick kids staying home from school, I'm not quite sure what day it is anymore either!
Those Safari Moon fabs are gorgeous! Can't wait to see what you make with them 🙂

I am lazy myself cause I wait for a new, really great sewing maschine. Saveing money takes quite some time I have figured out 🙂 But still love to come around to watch the other projects. There are always great things to inspire me… Thank your for the link-up!

I actually had a Flickr pic to share yesterday and came looking on your blog and was so confused when i couldn't find the post! Unfortunately I don't have time to whip up a blog post – just the pic to share. Sorry!

Nevermind – I think we all have weeks like that! I love that you have one project almost finished and your dreaming of the next – I have several baskets of fabric selections for upcoming projects. It takes some willpower to not dive right in. Two quilts on the go, plus all the other craft projects are enough to keep me going!

This (i mean your quilt) looks gorgeous, can't wait to see more. I'm glad I am not the only one confused in the days. I am linking today thinking it is Wednesday…. But if course not, which means only one more day until the weekend!

I have lots of days like that; all day Tuesday I thought the next day was going to be Thursday. Hmmm. Anyway, I hopscotched over my other projects and have been working on a Holly Hobbie quilt for our dog Nanny. Just because.

Sometimes I spend my entire week trying to figure out what day it is so you're not alone by any means. Working from home and not having school age kids in the house it can be so easy to get mixed up. At least that's my excuse. Love the close up of the finished quilt. Looks yummy/
