WIP Wednesday: Back to the Snowy North

WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced
Not trying to make excuses or anything, but I’ve been at home only three days out of the last 12. And in those three days that I was home, I also had a guild lecture and approximately 4,000 loads of laundry to do. So what I’m trying to say is, I haven’t worked on any of my WIPs.

Okay, actually, I am totally making excuses. But they’re good ones, right?

But I think somewhere in those three days, I may have sewn one of these blocks. So here they are again. Enjoy! For like the millionth time. : )

And just in case you were wondering, I was in Florida for the last five days enjoying light and heat that was emitted from this bright yellow flaming ball thingy that they have in the sky down there. What a great idea. Let’s try that, Wisconsin!

Oh, hey, today’s WIP Wednesday has been brought to you by Marmalade Fabrics. Marmalade is one of my go-to stops for fabric shopping. Their “Around the Color Wheel” bundles are some of the best stash-builder bundles around. You can buy the bundles individually or do a monthly subscription. Another great find: Marmalade has the Timeless Treasures Sketch prints on sale right now. So go stock up!

This week, Marmalade is offering a $20 gift certificate to one lucky winner! To win, just go like Marmalade’s Facebook page, then come back and comment here. I’ll draw a winner by next Tuesday.

What are you working on this week? Here are the linky rules:
1. Link up any post from the past week that features an unfinished work-in-progress (WIP).
2. Somewhere in your post, you must link back here to my blog.
3. Comment on at least a few of the other WIP Wednesday links—commenting on the two or three links directly before yours works well to make sure everyone gets comments!

Liked Marmalade Fabrics on FB. Your post today was hilarious. Hope your time in Florida was wonderful. I was there the week before for the same reason. This time of year you just gotta have sunshine and warmth! Take care.

I hope you had a great time visiting your mother here, and that the weather was hot enough for you. If I were you, I'd have a really tough time returning to cold and snowy weather. One of these times, we'll get you to our Central Florida MQG meeting!
