WIP Wednesday: Fabric-y Goodness

Well, I didn't get in much (any) sewing time this week—I was prepping for classes and traveling to teach. But I DID manage to make some awesome fabric purchases. So here's some Wednesday pretty for you. They're almost WIPs, after all. They're in the progress of becoming works-in-progress, I guess? 😂

My LQS (Patched Works in Elm Grove, Wisconsin) stocks every one of the new colors of Carolyn Friedlander's Architecture crosshatch prints! So how could I not stock up?

Picked up a few Alison Glass prints at Bear Patch Quilting in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, while I was there to teach a class this weekend. (Thanks, ladies of the Minneapolis MQG, for a wonderful weekend!)

And finally, I picked up some Honor Roll by Anna Maria Horner. What I love about Anna Maria's fabric is that it often doesn't look like it should be a collection, and yet somehow it works very well as exactly that. Some other fabric lines out there look kind of .... formulaic. Anna Maria's never look formulaic. Still thinking about what I can do with this gorgeous line.

LINK-UP RULES:

1. Link up any blog post or Instagram photo from the past week that features an unfinished work-in-progress (WIP).

2. To link an Instagram photo, click the Instagram icon at the bottom of the link-up screen, and use the URL of your IG feed as the link (for example, my URL is www.instagram.com/lee.a.heinrich). Please hashtag #wipwednesday.

3. If you are linking to a blog post, please link back here to my blog somewhere in your post.

4. Comment on at least a few of the other WIP Wednesday links, either IG or blog—commenting on the two or three links directly before yours works well to make sure everyone gets comments!
