WIP Wednesday: Too brain-dead to think of a title
It has been an interesting week. Tons of quilty deadlines hanging over my head, I'm trying to finish laying out the yearbook for my daughters' school, I had major car trouble (which is fixed now, thankfully)—plus throw in two teaching/speaking engagements, being sick enough to almost completely lose my voice (fortunately after the speaking engagements), and an emotional event for a friend, and I'm about ready to keel over. But tomorrow I'm headed to Sewtopia in Chicago and I am more than ready for that break! Cannot wait to sew with friends from near and far, plus take classes from the amazing Rita and Latifah! (I'll be Instagramming from the conference, so follow me on IG if you want to see what's happening there.)
Anyway. Pattern quilt #2 is coming right along. Hoping to finish it up today, in fact.
I can't wait to see this one come together—it's so satisfying to see something that previously existed only in my head become an actual fabric reality. (Ignore all those crazy ugly threads stuck on my design wall!)
So what are you working on? Let's see it!
LINK-UP RULES:
1. Link up any blog post or Instagram photo from the past week that features an unfinished work-in-progress (WIP).
2. To link an Instagram photo, click the Instagram icon at the bottom of the link-up screen, and use the URL of your IG feed as the link (for example, my URL is www.instagram.com/lee.a.heinrich). Please hashtag #wipwednesday.
3. If you are linking to a blog post, please link back here to my blog somewhere in your post.
4. Comment on at least a few of the other WIP Wednesday links, either IG or blog—commenting on the two or three links directly before yours works well to make sure everyone gets comments!
