WIP Wednesday: Too Brain-Dead To Think of a Title

IMG_6345-2

It has been an interesting week. Tons of quilty deadlines hanging over my head, I’m trying to finish laying out the yearbook for my daughters’ school, I had major car trouble (which is fixed now, thankfully)—plus throw in two teaching/speaking engagements, being sick enough to almost completely lose my voice (fortunately after the speaking engagements), and an emotional event for a friend, and I’m about ready to keel over. But tomorrow I’m headed to Sewtopia in Chicago and I am more than ready for that break! Cannot wait to sew with friends from near and far, plus take classes from the amazing Rita and Latifah! (I’ll be Instagramming from the conference, so follow me on IG if you want to see what’s happening there.)

Anyway. Pattern quilt #2 is coming right along. Hoping to finish it up today, in fact.

I can’t wait to see this one come together—it’s so satisfying to see something that previously existed only in my head become an actual fabric reality. : ) (Ignore all those crazy ugly threads stuck on my design wall. LOL.)

Today’s WIP Wednesday is brought to you by Intrepid Thread! Intrepid Thread now conveniently has a pre-order page with all of their collections that are available for pre-order. How awesome is that? Click here to visit their pre-order page—they’ve got the new Cotton + Steel lines, Tula Pink’s True Colors, and more available for pre-order.

GIVEAWAY: This week, Intrepid Thread is offering this pretty pretty rainbow bundle to one lucky winner! Don’t the Lizzy House Butterfly prints and Joel Dewberry Herringbone prints look amazing together?

    Hi there Lee,
I am so loving your table runner. The colours are dee-lish!
I am really happy that rainbow colours are back in style! Being a teenager in the 1980's, I was all over rainbows! Do you remember Rainbow Jeans? They were one of the first trendy items of clothing I ever bought!
    Thanks!
    Quilty Huggs,

Loving the rainbow! I really like the colors and fabrics you chose for your quilt. It isn't a combo I would have put together, but it really works.
