WIP Wednesday: Countdown to Summer

IMG_6689sm-3

School ends for my kids in just over a week, so this week the countdown is on to get things done before they (and their various summer activities) dominate my days!

But first things first! My newest pattern, Moroccan Lanterns, is now available! I’ll have a full blog post with all the details about Moroccan Lanterns tomorrow, but for those of you who have been waiting for it, it is officially available for purchase today, and the PDF pattern is on sale through Sunday for just $4.99. So go grab it now from my pattern shop, and/or come back tomorrow for full details on this one!
As for WIPs, I’m still plugging away at my kaleidoscope baby quilt. I am determined to finish it ASAP! Also on my list before the kids get done with school: Organizing my pantry and finishing some trim painting. Not sewing-related, but fully necessary.

That quilt is beautiful! I just returned from Italy, and couldn't believe the mosaic and fresco patterns. This reminds me a lot of what I saw there. Love!

I love your kaleidoscope quilt! I made a kaleidoscope quilt with the colors the reverse of yours. It's interesting to see the pattern in a positive and negative. Hmmmm, maybe it's time for another one…….

I make lists of all the projects I'm working on and forget about the other stuff, like cleaning the pantry, painting, gardening, etc. and then wonder why they don't get done, too!!! Good luck with all of them.

Chugging along with my WIPs and making progress which is all I can hope for! Summer means it stays lighter out which feels like there is more time – never enough time, but still I'll take it. Your color palette is always so refreshing and pretty.

OOh I love the new quilt! I keep seeing those kaleidoscope quilts popping up! I HATE paper piecing but I might need to bite the bullet for this one! Looking great! Thanks so much for the giveaway!
