WIP Wednesday: Another Scrappy Start

IMG_7347-1
Good morning! Along with my back-to-school quilt, I started another scrappy quilt this week. At some point I really need to stop starting things and start finishing them. And that point will need to be soon, since I have some deadlines coming up!

This week’s WIP Wednesday is brought to you by Intrepid Thread! Intrepid Thread has Stella by Lotta Jansdotter in the shop this week—such a sweet new baby line by Lotta!

GIVEAWAY: In fact, Intrepid Thread is giving away a fat-quarter bundle of Stella this week! Love it, thank you, Intrepid Thread!

To enter the giveaway, do any or all of the following (each one gets you one chance to win):
1. Comment on this post
2. Post a photo on Instagram with the hashtag #wipwednesday

3. Link up your own WIP Wednesday blog post or Instagram photo below

Okay, so what are you working on this week? Let’s see it!

LINK-UP RULES:

1. Link up any blog post or Instagram photo from the past week that features an unfinished work-in-progress (WIP).
2. To link an Instagram photo, click the “Add Your Link” button below, then click on the Instagram icon at the bottom of the screen that pops up. You should then be able to select any of your recent Instagram photos. Where it says “Link,” use the URL of your Instagram feed (for example, my URL is www.instagram.com/freshlypieced). Please hashtag your IG post #wipwednesday.
3. If you are linking to a blog post, please link back here to my blog somewhere in your post.

4. Comment on at least a few of the other WIP Wednesday links, either IG or blog—commenting on the two or three links directly before yours works well to make sure everyone gets comments!

Every time I organize, I find new color combinations and things I want to make. It's that having to sleep thing, ok and feeding the family thing, that gets on the way. This is a terrific giveaway!

Just think . . . once you stop starting things and start finishing them, you'll end up with a lot of finishes! And people will wonder how you can get so much done!! 🙂
Thanks for the opportunity to win.

I also have a tendency to start new projects before finishing others. Starting something new is so much more fun than the final stages of something you have been working on for a while. Love this bundle.

I too tend to start many quilts and then I tell myself I have to stop piecing and get some quilting done and finish these quilts! I love the scrappy quilts you are working on; I tend to use lots of fabrics in one quilt. I did finish up 3 small quilts for charity this week so I am happy with that. On to more sewing!!

I love scrappy quilts, too–the more fabrics, the better! This new line is beautiful…love making baby quilts because they go so fast. I actually finish them! We won't talk about how many UFOs I have! Thanks for the giveaway!

Oh, you need to stop starting new projects and start finishing some WIPs? You, too? Because that's what I keep telling myself, and yet there are at least four new quilts that I'm tempted to start anyway! 🙂
