Good morning! As you read this, I'm just returning from a family vacation to the Wisconsin Dells, otherwise known as the Waterpark Capital of the World. That's right, the World Atlas says so, so it must be legit. In the Dells there are more waterparks and pools per capita than any other city in North America. It is truly a national treasure. 😂 But while I suffer through waterpark withdrawal, let's enjoy this month's Perfect HST Sampler Block, shall we?
This month's Perfect HST Sampler block is Cedar Star. This one is another East Lansing reference! I'm a Michigan State University alum, and wanted to name one of the blocks after the Red Cedar River (shortened to just "Cedar Star"). MSU has a gorgeous campus with a pretty little river running meandering through it, surrounded by college-gothic dorms, a tolling bell tower, and lots of gigantic old trees. On a fall day when the leaves are changing colors, there's nothing more quintessentially collegiate than this place. Kind of the exact opposite of the Wisconsin Dells, now that I think about it. 😂
