Introducing Summer Sampler 2020: Easy-Piecing Summer

Katie and Faith and I have so much fun putting this together every year, and it's grown so much—more than 1,500 of you participated in last year's "Piecing Bootcamp" skill-builder-themed sampler. It was beyond our wildest expectations!

This year, for our 5th annual Summer Sampler, we're bringing you a laid-back summer of low-stress piecing. We know quilting is one of your ways to unwind and escape from reality right now, and we want this year's Sampler to help you do just that! So our 2020 Sampler theme is "Easier than it looks." We asked our AMAZING team of talented guest designers (see the team below!) to help us create a quilt that only LOOKS complex.

Here are all the details about this year's quilt-along:

Quilt-along runs:
June 1-September 21, 2020 (Want to join late ... or even after the quilt-along is over? You still can! All previously-released blocks will be sent to you immediately upon purchase.)

Stats:
16 blocks, 58" x 58" finished quilt

Skill level: Confident Beginner.
We assume you have basic quilting knowledge such as the ability to sew a 1/4" seam, general fabric cutting and pressing knowledge, and familiarity with the terminology used in quilt patterns.

Fabric requirements:
Approximately 7 yards total of assorted colors, plus 2-1/4 yards of White background fabric. More detailed information is available in our Welcome PDF, which you can download on purchase. Or, visit Sewtopia for a custom fabric bundle.

For $29.99 total (one-time payment), you get:
• A new, fully-tested quilt block pattern delivered to your email inbox each Monday for 16 weeks, beginning on Monday, June 1, 2020

Here's my pull for this year's Sampler! I'm doing it in the Navy/Pink/Orange/Terracotta mock-up above. These colors are a departure from what I normally use, but I think a "departure" is exactly what I need right now. Lol. I can't wait to get started ... I hope you'll join us for some summer fun!
