WIP Wednesday: Chevrons and mid-mod
Let's do this thing.
Still working on nephew Jack's baby quilt. I finished all the gray chevron strips and I'm moving on to the green and blue now.

Next up is a quilt with this fabulous fabric from the "Business and Leisure" line by Allison Bielke for Modern Yardage. Allison is a friend from the Milwaukee Modern Quilt Guild, not to mention a very talented designer who takes a lot of her inspiration from mid-century modern design. I'm so excited to work with her fabric on this next project!
Check out some of Allison's city print fabrics, too—like Paris , Chicago, and (of course) Milwaukee. Love! And you can buy them all right here, from Modern Yardage, an exciting new kind of fabric company that I hope to devote an entire post to in the future.

And last but not least, check out the massive pattern shipment that arrived at my house yesterday! This isn't even half of it. : ) I got my Wisconsin business registration a few days ago as well, so I guess between these two things, I am now officially official.
What are you working on? Here are the linky rules:
1. Link up any post from the past week that features at least one unfinished work-in-progress (WIP).
2. Somewhere in your post, you must link back here to my blog. (Or grab the WIP Wednesday button for your sidebar.)
3. Comment on at least a few of the other WIP Wednesday links.(Reminder: Internet Explorer users may have trouble linking up. If so, try downloading the free Chrome or Firefox browsers, and that should solve your problem.)
