Perfect HST Sampler Block 4: Dupont Star

Meet Dupont Star! This month's block is named after Dupont Circle, the Washington, D.C., neighborhood where I lived right after I graduated from college and got my first job out of school. I had a teeny-tiny studio apartment near 17th and U. I walked straight down 17th Street to get to work every day, and I felt like quite the grown-up. I still remember what I bought with my first-ever "real" paycheck: A velvet blazer. It was the '90s, what can I say? 😂
The radiating half-square triangles that start in the center of this block and work their way out remind me a little of Dupont Circle itself (which is horribly confusing to drive on, if you've never done it). Just pretend one of those navy blue HSTs in the corners is the escalator entrance to the Metro stop, and you're there!
