I won't lie. It wasn't easy to try to top last year's travel-inspired quilt-along. But I'm super excited about this year's theme, which is ... (drumroll please) ... "Piecing Bootcamp!"

We've been doing our Summer Samplers since 2016, and I've informally called these patterns "piecing bootcamp" every year. With a Summer Sampler under your belt, I promise you'll become a lean, mean piecing machine. : ) So many of our previous Summer Sampler participants have told us how much they've learned by doing the Sampler. Why not make that the official theme this year?

So this summer, we're skill-building! Each block will focus on a particular piecing technique or design element. We’ll be tackling skills ranging from half-square triangles to foundation paper piecing to curves to Y-seams. It's great for everyone from a confident beginner to experienced quilters looking to hone their skills.

AND. We've scoured the quilting world to bring you the freshest, most amazing designers who also happen to be experts in the skills we'll be learning (see below for complete list)! So along with some pretty incredible block patterns, you’ll receive helpful tips and tutorials on that week’s area of focus, from somebody who really knows their stuff. Not to mention, there's our exclusive Facebook group, open to subscribers only, where you can ask questions, get advice, and interact with the designers and other quilters. You'll learn a ton, have fun, and get inspired on a weekly basis.
